What are you betting on right now? I am sure you have a vision of a position or status you would love to reach. It could be having a $40 per hour client, it could be owning an agency, it could be working for a specific organization, whatever that vision is, it is what you need to bet everything on.
If it is something that you feel like telling other people will be uncomfortable because everyone will think you are being unrealistic, I would say that is even better, because you are betting on something that will actually change your life.
You want to hear what my bet is? Here it is:
I have been building something that will help beginners find paying clients in the easiest way without overwhelm or generic online courses. It is something I envision to be the place you go to if you want to get started in the online world.
But I don’t have all the pieces, it requires a lot of my time and money, and brain energy, and I don’t even know if I can truly pull it off or how long it will take, but I am betting on it with everything I can.
Whenever I spend too much time or money working on it and my brain asks, “what if it didn’t work after all this effort?”, I always say to myself: what if it DID work?
That is the question I am advising you to ask yourself whenever you are working on something important. “What if it works?” I am sure all that effort will be worth it.
If your goal is to reach a level where you are charging clients $X hourly rate, what are the steps to get there? That is your starting point.
Maybe in order for me to charge that hourly rate, I need to be highly experienced in what I do, and I need some testimonials from reputable clients, then that will be my starting point.
Clearly separate your big goal from your starting point. Any big goal will require small steps and time to get there, be willing to figure out those small steps and go through the process.
Of course, even if you do everything right, you might not succeed, that is just life, but the part where you walk the walk is what is in your control, and even if in the end that thing didn’t work out, you will gain enough knowledge to know why it didn’t work and what you should do next.
For me, what is worse is not having a big goal to aim at or not walking the walk just because it might not work out.
Cheers 🥂

This is what always comes through most of our minds when it comes to trying out something new – What if I fails . We always forget to ask ourselves what if this becomes a success.
