What will take you to the top? And what will keep you there?
These are the kinds of questions that can set you on the path to real success.
Back in 2019, I used to wonder when I saw people on YouTube making money online, “How are they doing it?” I knew that millions of people were trying to make money on the internet, but only a few were actually succeeding. There had to be something, something that, if I figured it out, could take me to the top. And I needed to find out what that was.
After a lot of trial and error, I arrived at one key conclusion:
👉 I just needed to do it more times than the majority of people.
Here’s the thing: no matter what path you choose, if it has the potential to change your life, it will require giving up comfort.
Everyone’s fine with going to college or university, spending 2 to 5 years to get a certificate, just to hopefully land a job that pays enough to get by. But somehow, many people expect to learn virtual assistance or online entrepreneurship in just a few weeks, even though it can change their lives far more than most full-time jobs ever could.
When I started freelancing in 2019, I didn’t know anything, and I didn’t even realize that I didn’t know anything.
I created work samples that were honestly terrible, but I thought they were amazing at the time. I recently looked back at some of the proposals I sent on freelancing platforms back then, full of grammatical errors. And I didn’t even know.
Most people start that way, doing a lot of things wrong without realizing it.
You won’t succeed until you learn how to do things the right way. And the only way to get there is by putting in the work, again and again, over time.
❌ There’s no shortcut.
❌ There’s no magic wand you can wave.
❌ There’s no secret key, no hidden knowledge that someone can give you that will replace time and effort.
If your goal is to pay next month’s rent, online entrepreneurship isn’t the answer.
If you need to cover urgent bills in a few weeks, get a job that pays by the end of the month, don’t start virtual assistance or freelancing with the hope of quick income.
So, to finally answer the question:
“What will take you to the top?”
✅ Consistent learning.
✅ Consistent action.
If you never stop learning and implementing, you’ll stay ahead of the people who quit after a few weeks or months.
And if you put in 100% effort, doing the hard things that 90% of people avoid, you’ll likely be ahead of 90% of them.
While success isn’t guaranteed, no matter how hard you try, failure is guaranteed if you don’t try hard enough.
At the end of the day, you will live with your success or your failure.
So it’s up to you to choose your priorities.
Cheers🥂
